In 2003, Ford showed the concept versions of what would become the 05 Mustang, and indicated that they planned to have a racing version of the production Mustang. Kenny Brown asked Jim Gerdom to design a concept race car as a sales tool to assist in their attempt to get the contract to build the production race cars. This is Jim's drawing, based on the coupe concept car.

When spy photos of the 1994 Mustang started appearing, Kenny Brown, one of the top Mustang tuners at the time, and designer Jim Gerdom had already been discussing a super high-performance version of the Fox body, and applied their thinking to the new Mustang body, to become the XSR-95.

Jim created these two sketches of a black coupe and an orange convertible.

With the cooperation of Kenny Brown Performance, we have reproduced the black coupe as a poster (ordering information is on the ART page).
