1989 Aeroform Thunderbird GFX ©1989, 2026

This is my original design drawing fir the 1989 Aeroform Thunderbird GFX. The GFX was a wide-body package consisting of 14 fiberglass overlay and replacement pieces. I did the design, the clay, and the original plaster molds that the production parts were developed from. This package featured a design concept that I developed several years earlier: Turn Signals in the Side Mirrors. We took the prototype car (shown) to the 1989 SEMA Show. Several car companies took pictures of it. Now, most cars have turn signals in their side mirrors.
