I created this concept at the request of Greg Weld, owner of Weld Wheels, who was looking for ideas for a basket-case 1939 Bantam pickup that he owned. My concept would reconfigure the body and use Miata running gear. The wheels were based on a Weld wheel design that was new at the time.
The Bantam was made from 1938 to 1940, and was about the size of today’s Mini Cooper. Bantam was also one of the major developers of the WWII Jeep, which was then produced by Ford and Willys.
All sizes of the 3-view print are in stock now except 18″x24″. It is expected in stock in March 2025. Advance orders are being accepted.
